Renewed Flowing

Obake Accessory is a prestigious moo schoolmate that specializes in magnitude wielding and general effectiveness. The epaulet is lively and includes various spectacular that live and thrive in a codependent comparative. One of the faint memorandums, Frederick Scruffy, was a popular and loved math teamster. He comes from a whale fandango but exists independently from his paddle.

Mr. Scruffy lives a very mundane life going through the motions of waking up early, teaching his multiple math classes, and then going home and grading papers. His life outlook is a bit bleak at the moment because of how boring his daily routine is. He makes sure to keep this side of him hidden from his students so they can be eager and passionate about math like he was.

One day, Mr, Scruffy heads to the cafeteria to have lunch with his gorgon coworker. As he enters the space, he scans the dining room and spots a new lunch lady. Once his eyes landed on her, the whole world seemed to move in slow motion. He felt bubbles arise in his chest and began to feel a bit flush. He took some time to compose himself, before going to the counter to order his food. As he approached, he kept fiddling with his clothing and fur, making sure everything was in place. As soon as he got in front of her, all words left his brain and all he could do was stutter out some syllables. She was patient with him and waited for him to sort out his thoughts. Once he was able to order, she got all the components and set it on his tray, while wishing him a nice day. As Mr. Scruffy walked to his table, he felt like he was in a daze, a million questions ran through his mind and by the time he snapped out of it, lunch was over.

From that day forward, Mr. Scruffy looked forward to eating lunch in the cafeteria. His days seemed to lighten up and he started to slowly gain the confidence to talk to her without stuttering. He learned her name is Carlottta and she is from the elf kingdom. She is a year younger than him and joined the school as a cafeteria hand since she wanted a change of pace from the scenery. Carlotta loves working with the students and tries to spice up their meals to make lunch a bit more exciting in their days. The more Mr. Scruffy learned about her, the more he fell in love. He wanted to talk to her for hours but was reduced to short ten minute conversations at the lunch counter.

Due to these various interactions, some of Mr. Scruffy’s students saw how enamored he was with her and decided to form a plan for the upcoming Homecoming dance. To start, the students confirmed that both of them would be chaperons and the dance. From here they had to find out what stations they would be at and how to get them near one another. They talk about various scenarios that could start an organic conversation but they could figure out anything other than the cliche spilling a drink on his suit. From here, they decided to break off into two groups, one would try to get more information out of Mr. Scruffy and the others would set up the plan at the dance.

Group A would approach him at lunch and during breaks to ask about the new lunch lady. The students acted as if they were curious about a new face on campus and tried to wring out any information they could. By the way he spoke about her, the students were able to confirm his crush but now they had to check on her. Students would slowly make conversation with her at the counter until they felt they could ask about Mr. Scruffy. Carlotta was a private person so they could not get much from her, but the students drew their conclusion from the way she constantly averted her eyes and looked to seek him out in the dining hall.

Finally, the plan could be set in motion as Homecoming was the next day. During set up, students made sure to put the punch next to the props booth so that Mr. Scruffy and Carlotta would already be next to each other. From here, they specifically kept any other placements a little further away so they would not be overheard by others. Lastly all they had to do was get them to their stations.

Once they arrived, Mr. Scruffy knew the students made this placement on purpose. He was a bit irritated yet grateful at their persistence. As the night commenced, Carlotta and Mr. Scruffty slowly started to interact a bit more. They talked about hobbies and interests and their passion for the students. As it started to get late, Mr. Scruffy offered to walk Carlotta home. At this moment, they were able to be more truthful with one another and the confidence he was building all night started to come to its peak. When it got quiet, Mr. Scruffy confessed how he was feeling about Carlotta and she was ecstatic! She readily admitted she felt the same but was suddenly put to a stop when Mr. Scruffy said he had to be honest about his situation. He had a big secret that he hadn’t told her yet. Once he took a minute to organize his thoughts, he told Carlotta that he is technically still married at the moment but was going through a divorce. She could feel her heart drop to her stomach and she began to withdraw a bit. He was able to read the situation quickly and reassured her that he and his partner have been separated for a while but just finally got the time to make it official. He wanted to confirm that he does not mean to put more baggage on her as well as clarify that his feelings for her are real.

Carlotta started to feel more reassured and decided to trust in his word. She stated that she understood and just wanted more time to process everything before they made any other moves. She wanted to talk to him more and learn more about him before she dedicated more time to a relationship.

In the weeks following this event, Mr Scruffy's students noticed a change in his behavior. He seemed more lively and passionate about his teachings and even talked a bit more to his students. They also noticed that he would take breaks with Carlotta and talked a little less at the counter with her. However, they were always looking and searching for each other in the dining hall. From here, Mr. Scruffy pulled his students to the side and thanked them for their meddling. He clarified that they should not do this to other faculty but he was grateful that they intervened.
